Twilight series
Twilight, New Moon, and Eclips are FANTASTIC books!!!! I read them all the time when I am bored. I can't wait untill Midnight Sun and Breaking Dawn come out!!! If you haven't read these books you definalty should. I would have to say right now these are my favorite books.

I really like this series too! I've only read the first two and I'd have to say I liked the first one better. I can't wait to read the 3rd but I can never get it because students always have it checked out!! But, that's ok because I'd rather have the kids read it before me!!!
While you're waiting for the next Stephenie Meyer, you might want to check out Tantalize by Cynthia Leitich Smith. It's also about vampires and werepeople and will become a series. I liked it b/c it's set in Austin, TX, where I used to live. The main character's last name is also Morris, but that's just b/c Smith named her after a Texan character in Bram Stoker's Dracula. :)
Speaking of which, if you want the "original" vampire novel, try Bram Stoker's book...but look out for his sexist Victorian opinions. ;)
